The community of Argyle is mourning the loss of Brandon D. Wren, a beloved son, brother, and friend who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 35. Born on April 18, 1989, in Cambridge, New York, Brandon’s roots ran deep in the area he called home. He graduated from Salem Central School and furthered his education at Adirondack Community College and Hudson Valley Community College, where he cultivated a strong work ethic that would define his career.
Brandon dedicated 12 years to Ace Carting before spending the last three years of his professional life at Casella Waste, where he was admired for his commitment and reliability. His passion for building was nurtured during his early years working with his Uncle Ryan Kirchner, who inspired him to find beauty in creation and construction.
An outdoorsman at heart, Brandon found joy in fishing, hunting, and exploring nature’s wonders. He cherished the simple moments spent with family and friends, often accompanied by his two beloved dogs and his fiancé, Caitlyn Bearor. Brandon’s love for his family was immeasurable, and he will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering loyalty.
As Brandon’s family navigates this difficult time, his memory will be honored during calling hours at McClellan-Gariepy Funeral Home from 4-7 pm on January 3, 2025. The love and kindness he exuded will continue to resonate within the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him.
