On Friday afternoon, 42-year-old Brandy Olson was tragically killed during a shooting incident that unfolded inside the store’s Woodforest Bank.
According to the Lumberton Police Department, the shooting was the result of a targeted attack on two individuals who were waiting in line at the bank. The suspects fired their weapons at these individuals, but Olson, who was an innocent bystander, was struck by the gunfire. Witnesses rushed to assist Olson, attempting to provide life-saving measures until emergency medical services arrived. Despite their efforts, Olson later died at the hospital.
