In a shocking case of domestic violence, a 14-year-old boy from South Bend has been arrested for shooting his ex-girlfriend in the face after she broke up with him. Carter Dixon, a student at an unidentified school, allegedly shot his 15-year-old ex-girlfriend, Kaylynn, also known as KayKay, at his home on Christmas Eve. According to reports, Dixon’s mother, Ashley AJ Culp, had set up the encounter, telling Kaylynn that they had a Christmas gift for her.
The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on December 24th. Kaylynn was shot in the face, with the bullet entering her right jawbone and exiting her left cheek. The injury was so severe that it “blew out” her entire left jaw and tongue, as well as several back teeth. Miraculously, Kaylynn was able to find her phone and dial 911 for help.
Following the incident, Dixon fled the scene, but was later apprehended by police after a thorough search by the South Bend and Mishawaka Police Department. The charges against Dixon are still pending, but he is facing serious allegations of domestic violence and attempted murder.
