The Troup community is mourning the loss of Dalton Sanders, an extraordinary husband, father, son, brother, and friend, who tragically passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024. Known for his warmth and compassion, Dalton left a lasting impression on all who were privileged to know him.
Employed as a Facilities Coordinator at Altice USA since August 2022, Dalton was dedicated not only to his career but also to his family and community. He was a proud alumnus of Southern Nazarene University, where he studied during the 2019 school year, furthering his desire for knowledge and growth. Prior to that, he attended Carlisle School, laying the groundwork for his strong character and work ethic.
Dalton married his beloved wife, Makenna Sanders, in May 2022, and together they created a beautiful family. His role as a devoted husband and father was one of his greatest joys, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.
A viewing for Dalton will be held on Saturday from 1-3 PM at The Gospel Barn, located at 22160 HWY 110 S, Troup, TX, with a service immediately following. The community is encouraged to come together to celebrate Dalton’s life and honor the impact he made on those around him.
As friends and family remember Dalton, they reflect on his kindness, generosity, and the love he shared with everyone. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on through the memories and lives he touched.
