The community is heartbroken to announce the passing of John Caron, a well-respected educator and the founder and owner of X-Golf Methuen Indoor Golf & Bar. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, John’s impact was felt across multiple sectors, especially in education, where he dedicated more than a decade to shaping young minds.
John’s journey into education began after earning his Bachelor of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Fitchburg State University. He later obtained a Master of Education in Educational Leadership & Management, graduating with a remarkable 4.0 GPA. Over the years, he served as a classroom teacher, curriculum coordinator, and even taught Spanish before launching X-Golf Methuen in January 2023.
He was passionate about providing engaging learning experiences, serving as a curriculum coordinator in the North Middlesex Regional School District for 11 years. Beyond his contributions to education, John was an avid golfer and a beloved member of the Ferncroft Country Club, where he served as the Secretary of the Women’s Golf Association.
His commitment to community service was evident through his volunteer work with the Lazarus House Ministries and the North Andover Youth and Recreation Services. He participated in numerous fundraising initiatives, fostering a spirit of generosity that inspired those around him.
John’s passing leaves a profound void in the lives of his students, friends, and the numerous organizations he supported. As the community gathers to honor his memory, they will remember him for his dedication to education, passion for golf, and unwavering commitment to making the world a better place.
