Abington Township, Pennsylvania, is in mourning following the recent passing of Ken Montgomery Jr., a man whose love and laughter touched the lives of everyone around him. Ken, who passed away on December 25th, was more than just a husband, father, son, brother, and uncle; he was the heart of his family. Born on September 11, 1962, he was a shining light whose kindness and humor radiated warmth to all who knew him.
As the owner of Montgomery Auto Inc. in Jenkintown, he carried on the family legacy that his father, Ken Sr., his grandfather, Jack, and late uncle Jack Jr. had established in 1960. Ken worked tirelessly to create a welcoming environment for customers, infused with the family values he cherished. He was deeply proud of his work, seeing it as a way to honor his family’s history.
Ken’s pride extended beyond the shop; he was a devoted father to his son, Kenny III. Never missing a football game, he instilled important values in his son while creating precious memories. Together with his beloved wife Gina, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared experiences, all while making Ken Jr. a cherished figure in the community. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at Queen of Peace Church in Ardsley, where family and friends can gather to celebrate the life of this extraordinary man.
