The small town of Roachdale, Indiana is mourning the loss of Raymond Webb Crosby, a devoted husband, father, and respected community member who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 41. Raymond was born on July 20, 1983, in Indianapolis to Stephen R. and Rachel A. Webb Crosby. He was a proud 2002 graduate of North Putnam High School and went on to earn an associate degree from Lakeland College, where he also served as Student Trustee.
Raymond married Cheryl R. Mitchel on January 2, 2010, and together they created a loving home for their three daughters: Addison, Raylee, and Olivia. Known for his “go big or go home” attitude, Raymond poured his heart into everything he did, whether it was indulging in his passions like hunting and gardening or showcasing his culinary skills to spoil his family with exquisite meals.
Raymond’s sudden passing has left a gaping hole in the hearts of his beloved wife, children, twin brother Kyle, and sister Renee, as well as his parents and grandmother. As the community comes together to honor Raymond’s life, they will gather for services on December 31, 2024, at the Roachdale Christian Church, a testament to the vibrant legacy he leaves behind.
