The healthcare community is mourning the loss of Shane Nunan, a Nursing Manager at the AIDS Healthcare Foundation and a beloved figure in Dallas, Texas. Shane passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, and excellence in nursing. Hailing from Broomall, Pennsylvania, he attended Msgr Bonner & Arch Prendergast High School, where he first cultivated his passion for helping others.
Shane pursued his RN-BSN degree through Widener University and furthered his education at Delaware County Community College and Thomas Jefferson University. With 16 years of acute care experience, Shane had an impactful career at Baylor Scott & White Health before transitioning to his role at the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Additionally, he worked as an Aesthetic Nurse Injector at NN Innovations, LLC.
Beyond his professional achievements, Shane was known for his infectious laugh and radiant smile, features that could brighten even the most challenging days. A new addition to the rugby community, Shane embraced the sport with passion and enthusiasm, fostering team camaraderie and solidifying friendships. His dedication to his work, his team, and his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
