The Riverside County community is mourning the loss of Motor Deputy Timothy Corlew, a valued member of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, who tragically lost his life in a traffic accident while on duty on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. The accident was reported at 5:36 a.m. on the 91 Freeway near La Sierra Avenue in Riverside, California.
Responding emergency personnel found Deputy Corlew critically injured following a collision involving his law enforcement motorcycle. First responders immediately provided medical aid, including CPR, and transported him to Riverside Community Hospital.
